We spent the 4th of July weekend in Hereford (Sierra Vista) with Jay's parents and Laura's family (Jay's oldest sister). We had a fantastic time and will definitely make it a tradition. Sierra Vista has the most amazing fireworks show. It's an hour long and this year there were 4,300 fireworks. There were 500 in the thirty second finale alone. The weather was perfect - we even got a little chilly watching the fireworks show. On the morning of the 4th we went to Palominas (a small town east of Hereford) and participated in the "Unorganized Parade". There were more people in the parade than those watching. It was fun and we were done in less than an hour so the kids remained happy the entire time. We all wore our matching Reunion shirts. We went to Walmart after the parade ("a day without Walmart is a day without sunshine") and a lot of people thought we were there for our reunion. It was pretty funny. We took the kids swimming at the amazing indoor swimming center in Sierra Vista on Saturday. I don't have any pics because the girls were too clingy in the wave pool and on the slides. It was the best 4th we have ever had! We came home on Sunday and celebrated our 7th Wedding Anniversary. In the last 7 years we have gone through a lot. I love Jay and I am glad he continues to stand by me and loves me.

Enjoy!
