Yes, that's what you think it is. Jay needed to get the engine from the chevy truck at the Rowleys down to the garage to put it in the Jeep. He figured the best way was to lift it with the backhoe and drive it down. It was quite the scene. All the neighbors were out in there yards taking pictures with their cell phones over the wall. I have officially married a redneck. You can take the boy out of Kentucky, but you can't take the Kentucky out of the boy!
Rachel finally got her hair cut. No, she didn't do it herself. She wanted it short like Mimi and Mommy's for a while now. We were at Kalet's house and she wouldn't let me do her hair. Kalet thought that asking if she wanted it cut would calm her down and she replied, "Yes please." Kalet was stumped because the reverse psychology didn't work. I had planned on taking Rachel down to Kalet's salon the next week so it worked out alright.
Kalet took at least 10 inches off so we could donate it. When you ask Rachel where her hair is she says, "It's going to little girls who don't have any hair."
She loves her new do - Thanks Kalet!!!

I received some amazing pics from Carole Billings of the fire itself. Pretty amazing! Scott Peterson of the Hillside ward took the pics during the fire. Marci Shill was able to walk around the whole building and take pictures during the early morning. I took my pics around 9am. I wasn't able to get very close.
My mom chose the music!

Jay somehow convinced Damien and our incredible neighbor Lenny to come help him push the Jeep out into the street and flip it around then push it back into the garage so he can put the new engine in. It was pretty hysterical to watch.
They did a great job!
He did a springs over axle conversion and it lifted the back quite a bit. You can see the difference in the lift from the front to the back.
I AM SO PROUD OF HIM FOR DOING THIS ALL HIMSELF!

We went rapelling on the Saturday before Veteran's Day with the LaPorte's and the Lavato's. It was great meating Kathy's family. Kathy is my physical therapist. Her husband Mike got along great with Jay. We can't wait to take everyone out again! Robert and Chris had a great time. Mike LaPorte and Jay took their grills out and we had a great bbq at Coon Bluff. Catherine, Kathy and I managed to put out a great spread. Damien came towards the end with his kids and Kalet's brother Ryan and his girlfriend Jen. We had a blast!
This morning at 1am our church building (Lehi Stake Center) burnt down. When we went at 8am it was still burning. It is completely destroyed. I made this montage to email to Katie since she can't see it for herself. I thought some of you might want to watch and remember the great memories we made in our Stake Center.

Thanks to Shalene I have been tagged... The direction on her blog was to give 6 facts/habits about myself and then tag other people. So, here it goes...
1. I love doing laundry - it gives me such a sense of accomplishment!
2. I love to turn KMLE Country 108 on super loud and rock out in the kitchen with Rachel
3. I miss playing sports. Oddly enough I am dying to play basketball again more than softball. Weird!
4. I love rubbing Jay's head when he has a short buzz.
5. I love "nuggling" with my girls in the morning.
6. After 26 years of loathing chocolate I am starting to like it. I am very picky though! Symphony bars with toffee and almonds - heaven!
So I am going to tag Amanda, Holly, Kaylani, Karen, Jo and Jessie! Have fun!!!

On Halloween night we went to the Ward / Neighborhood Chili Party and had a great time. After we ate and the kids played and played and played, we went trick or treating with a couple of families. It was really fun!
"Aunt" Jessie came too
She was such a help with Rachel - we couldn't have done it without her!
Soldier Rylan and Samari Benjamin
Halloween night has finally arrived!
Jayne (Sleeping Beauty)
Rachel (Snow White)
Every year Jessie secretly makes her own costume
Last year she was the most amazing (and functional) pinata ever
This year she was a beautiful palm tree.
I was Reeses and Jay was my Mr. Goodbar!
Jayne was screaming out of control so we told her she had to smile for a picture in order to get her stuffed animal from the doctor.
This is Dr. Kwasnika. She is really one of the best at what she does. I am absolutely amazed at her skill, patience, and care while she gives the botox. We are truly blessed to have such a wonderful woman in our lives!
On Halloween we went to Caliber Signs to have lunch with Jay and then take him with us to CRS for Jayne's botox.
Jay took us for a ride in the Radocy (sp?) truck with the 60 foot boom. It was huge and pretty cool. We drove from the back of the building to the front to park it.
