The Easter Bunny came!!!!!!!!!

I decided to volunteer to organize the annual Bowman/Jones/Clifford/Abbott Saturday Easter Picnic this year. As soon as I told Darlene I would do it all I could think about is how lacking I am in creativity and energy right now, but it went off without a hitch and we all had a great time! The weather was suppose to be 94 degrees and miserable, but it turned out to be breezy and gorgeous! We ate great food, played fun games and the kids had the time of their lives hunting for eggs. The "men" went shooting afterward with Jayne and Heather. They had a great time too.

I found some confetti eggs at WalMart (of course).
They were real eggs shells that were hollowed out and filled with confetti
then dyed different colors.
We had an egg toss with them and it worked great with the kiddos
because you had to throw them really hard to break them.
We had teams of one adult and one kid.
Kelly & Bryson and Darlene & Heather tied as the winners.

Darlene ready for the catch!
Everyone having a great time!

Jayne needed a little hight. Thanks Papa!

Jay and I threw the egg a few times then he ran up and smashed it on my head.
Good thing it was just full of confetti!
I had egg shell and confetti in my hair all day long!

Shelby & Sara doing their duty - hiding the eggs.
They missed Ashley this year.
They had over 175 eggs to hide!
