Jayne has been begging for a hair cut since the end of July. She wanted her hair just like Mommy's. We braided it first then Kristin McPhie cut it. Rachel is holding the braids in the first picture.

Looking good!
Jayne is so adorable! She loves her hair cut!!!

She is so cute when she flips her hair back and forth.
The last picture is of Jayne touching her braids on the table.

It is sad to see her loose all of her gorgeous hair, but it is what she wants. It reminds me of the part in Little Women when Jo cuts off her hair. The difference for Jayne is that it isn't her "one true beauty". (Don't we all just love snotty little Amy?)
Jayne is happy and that's all that matters!

Jayne started preschool again. She loves it! She was so excited to see Mrs. Billings again. They had their first field trip to Fry's Marketplace (grocery store) this last week. They got to go "behind the scenes" in each department. Jayne's favorite place was the deli. They got pepperoni and string cheese along with their cool hats! (Notice Jayne's long, beautiful hair that is not there anymore!)

Rachel fell asleep while she was climbing up the ladder to the bunk bed. She was playing with Jayne in the bedroom then Jayne came out and a few minutes later we realized it was really quiet in her room. We found Rachel teetering back and forth. Of course I ran and grabbed the camera before Jay could get her down. Kids amaze me. I don't think I could ever konk out that way. Leave it to Rachel!

Rachel is such a hoot. She loves dressing up too, just a bit goofier than her sister. She always can make us laugh with one of her silly faces. She reminds us a lot of Afton when she was her age.

Jayne loves dressing up. We call her "Diva Jayne". She loves dancing around in her "noisy shoes" on the wood floor. They just might be a huge contributing factor to mommy's migraines. :-) She always begs to wear them to church every Sunday, but hasn't convinced us yet. She loves to wear boas and her pink flowered scarf. I am not sure if she is more like her mom or her dad... maybe Aunt Sara. We can't wait to see if she stays this "prissy" when she gets older. For now we just can't picture her any other way.

Jayne got some money for her birthday and decided to buy a doctor's kit. (She really loves going to CRS and seeing the great doctors there.)
I brought a few of those lovely paper gowns home from doctor's appointments and Jayne and Rachel use them for "surgeries".

Jayne loves giving Botox to everyone!

Jayne brought some roses home from the Brewer's wedding luncheon and used them to play Beauty and the Beast and Sleeping Beauty. The picture above is of Jayne or Princess Aurora waiting for Prince Phillip to come wake her with "true love's kiss".

Rachel, being the good sister that she is, played the part of Prince Phillip. She got a little carried away with the kissing though. I had to pull her off of Jayne. She is a little smoocher - Jay definitely has something to be worried about!

Can you believe how much Duffy and Beanzy look alike?
(Beanzy is Duffy's older brother.)

Jayne's birthday party in Arizona (July) was very special.
Her Great Uncle Beanzy was here!
I haven't seen him since I was about Jayne's age.
It was a great reunion for everyone!
Kristin with the .22 short.
Ryan with Jay's new 9mm. (below)

We went shooting with Kristin and Ryan McPhie on Saturday night. It was a blast! We had a campfire and roasted hot dogs. Then we went off-roading in Jay's Jeep. It was amazing! There were a ton of drunks off-roading too so it was interesting to say the least. We will definitely be doing it again soon!!!

Rachel loved playing in the dirt.
We aren't sure how her eyebrows got so filthy!

The girls have great form! They love bounding.

They also love spinning!

We went rappelling at Coon Bluff on Labor Day.
The girls love "hanging" and "swinging on the mountain". We hope to have them actually rappelling by the time they are six. They will be attached to Jason, of course. I am not sure about Jayne, but Rachel will definitely be ready. She is crazy and fearless like her dad!
