A few Saturdays ago we drove out to Johnson's Ranch in Queen Creek to have dinner with Martin (Jay's co-worker) and his wife, Margaret. She is expecting a little girl - their first - so she had a ball playing with our girls. They made fajitas and it was my first time eating them. They were amazing! Martin and Margaret are from Poland. They definitely contradict all the jokes. They are amazing and we are so glad to have them as friends!
Daddy giving Jayne some "wisker pie"
Marint broke his hand and had a very hard temporary cast. He kept threatening to hit Jay over the head with it... jokingly of course!
The girls LOVE Martin. They hung on his legs over and over again. He is going to be such a great dad.
Martin is an amazing photographer. He just does it as recreation, but he is gifted enough to be professional. He showed me his new lenses and a ton of nature pics he has taken. I have finally found someone with the exact same love. I am hoping when I finally get my Nikon D40 he will help me learn the tricks to take amazing shots.
This last one is from a few weeks ago. Jay went with a buddy to Wittmann and got to shoot a hog in the head with a .22
Jay hasn't ever hunted so it was kindof sad for him, but when he made these ribs he just didn't care anymore. He worked hard learning how to do this right. My dad helped him figure things out and it was a learning experience because my dad hasn't ever cooked ribs either.
They were enjoyed by all... I even took a little bite. Delicious!
