My baby turned 5 today! Happy Birthday Rachel! :-)
Still no pics. I took some pics of Rachel opening her presents this morning and realized I have about 950 pics on my camera to download from the last 5 months. School has taken over my life, but it's awesome so that's ok.
Good news... I received my EMT-Basic Certificate from SCC last night after finishing the semester at the top of my class (Ranked #3 by 3 points). I received a cash scholarship as well. One scholarship went to the top student... once again, I was beat out by 3 points. The class was able to vote for the student who helped them the most. I won by a landslide. I am stoked! I also found out that the position I really want at Gilbert Hospital just opened up. I stayed up late submitting my application last night. Even with everything seeming to fall apart lately, I can see the tender mercies of the Lord in my life. He is good to us, even when we don't deserve it.
I have struggled with paying tithing for the past year. I am off and on. With money being so tight it's hard to give up 10%. This last weekend I gave the biggest check I ever have to the Bishop and within 24 hours things turned around in our lives. So many blessings right away. I knwo the scripture in Malachi is true. The windows of heaven will pour out more blessings than we can handle.
I am off to school. I will take my National Registry Exam next week and will be an EMT. What an awesome feeling!
Have a fantastic week and Happy Mother's Day to all the mom's out there!
Love ya!!! :-)

Sure am proud of you big sis.! I know that education is something that mom and dad have never pushed on us but I love that so many of their children have taken it upon ourselves to push our education forward. I hope the best for you with the hospital position. Who knows, maybe one day I will be your boss. ;-) love ya
