Jason took the girls out to the little field by our house to play t-ball. They were really good, especially Jayne. That night, Jay was tucking Jayne into bed and he told her that if she wanted to play t-ball or soccer or basketball all she had to do was tell us and we would sign her up to play on a team. He said she could do whatever she wanted. She looked up at him and said, "Really Daddy?" "Of course," he said. "What about Golf?" Silence. "Golf?" "Yes." More silence. "You know, Golf, like Rachel played on her birthday." Jay told her that she could be a professional Minature Golfer and we would support her all the way. When he told me I just though, "Why? Why don't we have cyclists like Jay or ball players like me? Why dancer and golfers?" When I found out it was Mini-golf I was quite relieved. We will support our kids in whatever they choose to do, but it would be nice to have a clue about the sports they choose. :-)
