Well, it only took three weeks to complete our "one day project" so I guess life isn't too bad, right? I learned an important lesson while renovating our bedroom: things NEVER take as little time as they should. I could go into all the details of this project and share some ridiculous stories (mostly involving the brilliant workers at Home Depot - please note the sarcasm!!) but I won't. I am content with my beautiful sanctuary. It is going to be so much more peaceful being stuck in a clean, fresh room after this surgery than the last two recoveries were.

A special thanks goes out to Damien, Kalet (thanks for your patience and letting us borrow you husband week after week through all those late nights!!!), my dad, my mom, Jessie Leach and of course Jay. This project was all about making me happy and I appreciate it. I know you didn't care what we did and I am glad you supported me in my decisions!

I love my new room!!!!!!!!!
Enjoy the transformation!

Your room looks great, I am so glad you are excited to hang out there post-surgery! It looked like a ton of work, but obviously worth it.

In regard to Home Depot, when my Father-in-law was in town he went there a few times and every time he asked someone something about the store or the Indianapolis area they replied that they didn't know because they had just moved there. This happened at least 3 times. He joked all week about HD being the place you knew you could get a job if you had just moved somewhere.
