Hey everyone!
Check out this link to see pics of
Josh & Dyan's temple pictures.
Heather Ives took these on Monday.
They are getting married this Saturday.
I think they are phenomenal photographs!
This is Rachel during the renovation of our room. Our kitchen table was covered with construction stuff so this is where she ate... for three weeks!
That's root beer by the way.

The kids were helping Damien and Jay wash our cars and they ended up having a bit of a water fight. Rachel slipped on the wet concrete and hit her head hard. Notice her nose... it looks a little better, but the pink is still there. Oops!
Alright, I have had requests for a new picture for the "Meg's Smartest Friend" competition so here's the next pic.
Hints:
It is a STORE in Mesa
It's been there for a long time
Good luck!

Ashley, Crystal & Josh - you are right! This was taken at the Target at Gilbert & Southern!

So I am ready to throw my computer out the window! It keeps freaking out and shutting down on us and it won't let us log into blogger anymore. So... I am at my mom's posting to let you all know that it may be a bit before we post the rest of the pics and videos from the last few weeks.

Josh's wedding is this Saturday. My grandma Szabo flies in this afternoon. We have been cleaning out Katie's room all day. It's been nuts... apparently there was a leak in the ceiling since she left during a monsoon storm. Luckily the water had dried out so we just had to tear down a bunch of popcorn ceiling nastiness. It just got better from there. I won't give more details, but we hauled a lot of stuff out of there. It looks great now! Jayne and Rachel are so excited to see Grandma! I can't wait for all the other family to come too! For those of you who can't make it, you know I will try to keep you updated on all the fun we have.

Have a great week! :-)

Everyone needs to check out my cousin Holly's blog Tutus & Turtles!
It has amazing things for children of all ages! Please check it out!!!

September 4th was a big day for Rachel and some of her best friends: Joey Cross and Gwen McPhie. They all started preschool with Carole Billings! It's the same preschool Jayne attended for two years. They all had a great time!

Grandma Clifford turned 84 last month so we all got together at Laura and Mark's house to celebrate on the 26th. We had a delicious mexican fiesta and Darlene even made her poppyseed cake! Good times were had by all. I love this video because you can see how much fun the cousins all have together. I am so grateful I married into such a fabulous family!
Happy Birthday Grandma! We love you!!!!!!!

Susan Pope and I threw a baby shower for Jo Alldredge on August 18th. It was a lot of fun!

Baby EmmaLee Tiny Alldredge was born on Saturday, August 25th at 11pm. She weighed 6 pounds 12 ounces and was 18.75 inches long. Her middle name fits!

Congrats to Jo and Jeremy as well as her new grandparents! :-)

Well, it only took three weeks to complete our "one day project" so I guess life isn't too bad, right? I learned an important lesson while renovating our bedroom: things NEVER take as little time as they should. I could go into all the details of this project and share some ridiculous stories (mostly involving the brilliant workers at Home Depot - please note the sarcasm!!) but I won't. I am content with my beautiful sanctuary. It is going to be so much more peaceful being stuck in a clean, fresh room after this surgery than the last two recoveries were.

A special thanks goes out to Damien, Kalet (thanks for your patience and letting us borrow you husband week after week through all those late nights!!!), my dad, my mom, Jessie Leach and of course Jay. This project was all about making me happy and I appreciate it. I know you didn't care what we did and I am glad you supported me in my decisions!

I love my new room!!!!!!!!!
Enjoy the transformation!

This is a montage from Jayne's first week of school events:
Meet the teacher, first day of school and of course the bus stop!
I wish I had video of Betsy (my friend in the bus picture) catching Jayne as she fell out of the bus backwards! We now pack her lunch closer to her body.
Her carpool buddy and friend for life (we hope) is Rylan. He is in Mrs. De Jesus' class next to Jayne's class with Mr. Abrams. Mr. Abrams is from upstate NY and we LOVE him! (My mom is from Long Island and her family is all from Upstate.) He is JUST LIKE UNCLE JOSH. Jayne absolutely LOVES Franklin West!

This is over a month old...
The girls first time playing in a Real Monsoon storm!

Well, our computer has been acting up again for the past few weeks so I was only able to do some minimal posting at my mom's house. Hopefully things have been worked out and I won't have that problem again.

Here's a little video of Jay winning big through KMLE Country 108!
